Past Work

A few samples of artists I’ve produced, recorded, and mixed over the past several years. My goal is for each project to be bespoke and and every sound to be crafted for the artist themselves. The vast majority of what you hear are live instruments recorded in-studio, with some electronic and or sampled elements (the majority of which are also created in-studio) when deemed appropriate. Producer / engineer / mixer Cory Spotts (www.coryspotts.com) has worked on hundreds of records since his 2002 transition from musician to producer, engineer, and mixer, including releases for artists as diverse as Job For A Cowboy, Bless the Fall, Grey Daze, and The Maine, as well as record labels and distributors such as Warner Music, Fearless Records, Loma Vista, Metal Blade, Netflix, MTV, and more.

A longtime songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, Cory approaches music production from a musician’s point of view, and specializes in working closely with up-and-coming artists to help them develop their sound and talents. To date, well over a dozen of his artists have gone on to sign record deals with well-known labels including Warner Brothers, Fearless Records, Metal Blade Records, Equal Vision Records, and many others.
